Mammoth Mountain, CA - The most valuable pass on the snow, Mammoth Value Pass, is on sale starting tomorrow. Mammoth is breaking all the rules by holding the price to $399 for the third straight season, but the big news is that Mammoth will be limiting the number of Value Passes sold this year.
Mammoth is making this unprecedented move to preserve the on-hill experience. "When we began the Value Pass program three years ago, we knew
there would eventually be a need to limit the number of passes sold," said Pam Murphy, Sr. Vice President of Mammoth Mountain. "We feel we reached that limit last year. Our emphasis at Mammoth is on guest service and satisfaction. The Value Pass limit is in place to assist our effort to offer comfortable capacity during peak times."
The resort will post daily updates at mammothMountain.com indicating the
percentage of passes sold to ensure individuals don't miss their opportunity to purchase the pass.
The Mammoth Value Pass is good for unlimited skiing and boarding throughout the 2003-2004 winter season and for spring riding starting May 1, 2003, all for just $399, a 75 percent savings off the regular season pass price. Again this season, the pass will also include unlimited access to June Mountain and summer scenic gondola rides as an added bonus at no additional charge.
The Mammoth Value Pass is priced at $399 for adults, $299 for teens (ages 13-18) and $199 for children (ages 7-12) and seniors (65 and over).
Value Pass holders may purchase upgrades for Sierra Star Golf Club, Tamarack Cross Country Ski Center and Mammoth Mountain Bike Park for only $130 each.
For more information on upgrades call or visit the website. Beginning April 1, 2003, the pass will be available for purchase online at www.MammothMountain.com or by calling 800.MAMMOTH.
